Béjaïa
Djurdjura: walking between Berber villages and summits
An eight-day mountain trek in Upper Kabylie: cedar forests, Lake Goulimine, the summit of Lalla Khedidja (2,308 m) and nights in Kabyle villages.
Eight days from the coast of Béjaïa into the forested Babor mountains: an eco-lodge, the summit of Adrar Amellal, fir forests, waterfalls and the Roman city of Djemila.
East of Béjaïa, the Babor mountains rise straight from the sea, covered with oak and rare Numidian fir. This trip starts with the city and coast of Béjaïa, then moves into the hills of Ziama Mansouriah and an eco-lodge at Aguemoun, base for a long hike to the summit of Adrar Amellal and an evening of local music.
You continue through fir forests to natural pools and the waterfalls of Oued El Bared, then finish at the Roman city of Djemila before Sétif. Walks last up to six hours on mountain paths; good fitness is needed.
Welcome at Béjaïa airport and night at the hotel.
